Blessings of Geetha Menon – 2
Episode 54
One day Geeta’s husband was coming home from his office and while opening the car door kept his laptop bag to one side. He opened the car door and with a preoccupied mind started his car and drove home. The distance between their home and his office is a good half an hour drive.
As soon as he reached home as a natural tendency he reached for his laptop bag.
Alas!!!
He searched everywhere in the car and it was nowhere to be found. As he had all his official work in it he became very worried.
Immediately he told Geeta and both of them started for his office. Geeta started praying to Devi saying ‘Amma please help us. It is very important to find the laptop as it has lot of official information. I will offer a saree for you if everything goes well’.
As soon as they reached the parking lot what did they see…

The laptop bag was exactly in its place where he had left it. It was almost an hour where it was left unattended. Anyone who walked into the parking lot could have walked away with it.
Immediately Geeta went to a shop bought a saree, straight drove to the temple. Both of them offered the saree to Mother Goddess as a gratitude for resolving their problem.

Many would not know that Geeta regularly conducts classes teaching Devi Mahatyam and other religious scriptures to a number of people. She is such an amazing person who continues to learn new things and imparts the knowledge to others.
One of her hobbies is going to walks, which she does almost regularly. Many a time one of her friend Mani joins her in these nature walks.
On one particular day as soon as she parked her car and was waiting for her friend a voice kept telling her ‘Give Panchadasi mantra to Mani’.

Geeta wondered how she could give it. It needs to be given by a Guru only who is qualified to do so.
Geeta was shocked and was thinking ‘Am I eligible to give the Panchadasi mantra?’
Mani came near and seeing Geeta’s face asked ‘What happened? What is wrong?’
Geeta was mumbling something but no words came out of her mouth. After a while Geeta told her what she heard.
Hearing this Mani started crying and said in her home town in the Devi temple her family was performing Koti Archana and hence she was chanting Lalitha Sahasranamam continuously. She said that may be Devi Maa was blessing her in this way and prodded Geeta to teach her.
Geeta asked her to come to her house at around 3pm the coming Friday to receive the mantra.
On the decided day, Geeta took two prints of the required material and kept all the papers ready. While printing she got a vibration that she had to print one more copy of the same.
Why???
At around 3pm, another friend of Geeta, Deepa came over without prior notice. Geeta was in a dilemma as to how to tell her friend that she would have to wait for a minutes in the hall.
With no other choice she told Deepa ‘I am initiating Mani into Panchadasi. If you also want I can teach you’.
Deepa became emotional and said ‘Two or three days back, at around midnight I dreamt of Abhisekham to Devi. I thought that Devi Maa was asking me to clean the velaku (Diya) and hence I got up at that time and cleaned all the velaku. How would I know she is blessing me
like this?’
Taking Adi Shankara Charya as Guru, Geeta became the medium for teaching them Panchadasi.
See how Devi blesses the deserving devotees… Even without asking She blessed them with Panchadasi Mantra.
(Panchadasi means 15. Since this mantra has fifteen letters it is called as Panchadasi. The explanation and understanding of this mantra is certainly beyond our capacity.
Panchadasi mantra consists of three lines of bijas and each line is called ‘kuta’ or group.
There are different meanings for kuta,. The three kutas are known as vakbhava kuta, kamaraja kuta or madhya kuta and shakthi kuta. Vakbhava kuta represents Lalithai’s face, kamaraja kuta represents the portion between Her neck and hip and the last one shakthi kuta represents the portion below Her hip. The whole form of Lalithamba is made up of these three kutas. This is one of the reasons why Panchadasi is considered as very powerful. These three kutas are joined in such a way that an inverted triangle is formed around Her yoni.
This is why this mantra is considered as highly secretive. Vakbhava kuta is the right side of this triangle, kamaraja kuta, the upper side and Shakthi kuta forms the left side of the triangle.)

Geeta is so very blessed. Sometime in the beginning of this month when Geeta was in the temple a voice told her to perform Chandi homam.
Geeta wondered how she was going to do it as it is a long process and the homa kundam cannot be arranged at home.
She decided whatever the circumstance she would perform the Chandi homam and spoke to her Guru who also agreed to support her.

Next day when Geeta went to the temple, She explained the priest about the Homam, he was surprised since Devi's Birthday(Prathista dinam) was just 2 weeks ahead i.e. on November 16th. Since it was a short notice the next available date she got was 2nd December for performing Homam.
Priest wanted her to see a hall that was near the temple. Geeta always assumed it was a small hall that could be used for any regular functions.
How would she know what was in store for her…
When the priest opened the door of the hall Geeta was in a shock…
Because…
The hall could easily accommodate more than 200 people and the most amazing thing was there was a Yagna Kundam already built. It was as if Mother Goddess was telling ‘See I have made all the arrangements and kept everything ready for you. You only have to buy things for puja and invite your guests’.

How lucky???
Geeta would be performing the Chandi Homam on the 2nd of December 2017 as it is auspicious Trikartika and inviting all her students as well as fellow chanters.
It would be conducted in a very elaborate manner with a number of couples participating in the event. She also plans to honour two Kumaris, two Suhasinis (married women) as well as two widows who would represent Mother Goddess at various stages of life.
We are eagerly waiting for the miracles that would happen during the Chandi Homam.
Many a time Geeta was able to take photos of various Gods and Goddesses during the Homams she attended.
And now when she herself is performing the Homam, will not Mother Goddess show Her presence to Her beloved daughter???
