Episode 130
Kanna’s sister- 1
After a long gap I am writing about Kanna’s leelas again.
Kalpana’s reaching Kanna’s abode was a shock that many of us are still coming to terms with.
The year 2020 affected many families in so many ways.
I was not an exception even. I lost a few family members due to various reasons. Coping with these losses mentally, was difficult and it took time for me to start writing again.
I am extremely sorry for the delay and making everyone wait for Kanna’s leelas.
A verse by the Great soul, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa:

‘God himself takes care of those who have none to call their own.’
Just before Kalpana’s passing away, I got a message from one of the Achyuthan members saying that she knows a Krishna devotee.
The lady did not want to be identified but was ready to share her story.
We call her Hari Priya. (Eve I also don’t know her actual name).
Hari Priya is blessed to have Kanna in her life as her brother. She says she has seen Kanna not once but many times. If asked to describe His presence in her life she is at a loss of words for she does not know where and how it all ends.
He is a part and parcel of her life and the reason for her existence as well as her life today. Kanna has performed countless miracles in her life.

Hari was born in a traditional south Indian family. Due to unfortunate circumstances she lost her mother at a very young age.
He remarried within 2 to 3 years to take care of the child.
When Kanna has to shower His blessings will He allow us to have a smooth life? He in His usual way has to make us go through testing times. Same thing happened with Hari too.
Hari being very young could not understand and was unable to adjust to her new mom.
In turn Hari had to undergo physical, mental and verbal abuse almost every day. Her childhood is filled with unpleasant memories.
The child thought that the new mother did not like her due to her mistakes, what does she know how an older person’s mind works? She was guilt ridden all through her growing years.

But as she grew older the guilt was replaced by the knowledge that the mother’s hatred was due to the fact that she was a step child.
Hari had to undergo severe torture for even smallest of the mistakes that children normally do. The young child was traumatized.
No one believed her as the mother did not show this ugly side when her father, relatives or friends were around.
Her father also was influenced so much that he was blind to the child’s suffering.

Hari from her childhood took refuge in Kanna, and took Him to be her elder brother.
Every year on Raksha badhan day she used to tie “Rakhi” to his statue religiously.
And you know what…
He has proved to be a wonderful brother in the world…

MIRACLE 1:
Once Hari along with her step mom was going to her step-mother's ancestral shrine for the annual festival, which they perform every year. The ancestral shrine was located in a neighboring city, hence they had to stay overnight in the shrine for a day. All relatives from various places used to gather for this annual festival with their families.
She always noticed that her cousins and other kids would be lovingly covered by their mothers by blankets after the kids were fast asleep. But Hari never has this luxury despite cold wind that would make Hari shiver a lot.
When Hari was in the 8th grade, she decided to carry a blanket from home. Unfortunately in the hurry, she forgot to carry it and remembered it on reaching the shrine. In her frustration, she called out to Krishna and said "Krishna, don’t you see my plight? Those kids don’t have to bother about carrying a blanket for themselves as they have their mothers to cover them. But I have no mother, and I have forgotten to carry my blanket. Won't you give one to your sister?"
As night approached, she forgot about her plea. She sat away from the shrine in a distant relative's home nearby and started talking with the ladies. After some time she lay down near the women, closed her eyes and tried to get some sleep.
Suddenly…
A dark skinned young man whom neither she nor the ladies had ever see before, came to where she was, woke her up and said "How will you sleep amidst all this dust here? Please get up".
Wondering who he was and what he was saying to her, she followed his directions.
He cleaned the floor with a towel and told her to continue sleeping.
After some time he returned and woke her up again and handed a thick blanket and said "Sleep well" and walked off!
Next morning, she couldn’t find him anywhere as she wanted to return the blanket. She searched everywhere but to no avail.
So she gave it to one of the ladies and returned home.
Who could that dark skinned boy be?
Is it truly Kanna who is a Deena-bandhu, the friend of the distressed and downtrodden!
We will talk about more of Kanna’s miracles in the next episode.
