Unni Kanna loves all these forms and if the devotee follows meticulously any one of them also He is happy.
When a devotee attains all these stages then it is Sthayibhava.
As we all know Aditya (Kalpana’s son) can constantly see Kanna and chat with Him. Any interaction of Kalpana with Unni Kanna is through Aditya.
Aditya informs Kalpana what Kanna wants, how He is reacting to the situations as well as what He is saying.
When Kanna becomes too playful, He enters Aditya and shows all the mischievousness through him.

Kalpana can many a time see the different Gods and Goddesses and also Kanna at times.
Kalpana one day asked Kanna whether her devotion is as strong as Prahalad Swamy or Hanuman Swamy and if she has to serve him in any other form to increase her bhakti.
Kanna’s reply not only made her very happy but also tears started rolling from her eyes…
For Kanna said…
‘You not only have their devotion but more than that. That is why I have come to you.
I have been watching you from your birth and when the time came I showed my presence in your life.
Everything that you face in this life are the remnants of your past karma.
This is your last birth, all the past birth karmas need to be completed for ME to be able to freely take you to Vaikunta’.

A blessed soul!!
Last week I went to Kalpana’s house to meet her. Kalpana and I meet at least once a month either at her house or mine.
In her house and mine, the puja chanting box plays continuously.
When I went in she asked me what song I was hearing. I told her Ganapathy song.

All my family has been only hearing Ganapathy mantra. But I am not sure why and what Bhagawan is telling’.
Kanna and his mischievousness:
Once Kanna (through Aditya) kept the peacock feather on His head and was walking in a funny way.
Kalpana asked ‘Kanna why are you walking like that?’
Kanna’s reply brought a big smile on all the family members…
‘I am small boy and the feather is so big. I cannot carry the weight on my head. That is why I am walking like that’.
Kalpana continued ‘who kept the feather on your head’?
‘Ahh! That I was standing upside down and it went automatically into my head’.
Such a cute reply.

Poor Kanna He is such a small one, he cannot carry the weight of the feather.
Kalpana’s Kanna is only the size of a half of our finger.
What do one say when the answer is like this???
On another day…
Someone gifted Kalpana homemade ginger wine for indigestion problem. She had kept it on the dining table thinking she would have a little later. In the evening Kanna started walking in a zig zag manner.
Wondering what happened to Him, she asked ‘why are you walking like this?’
Innocently He replied ‘I got kicked. I drank the whole bottle of ginger wine. I am drunk now.’

Sometimes when Kalpana is lying down Kanna comes and sleeps on her chest just like a small baby.
When she feels the weight on her chest she knows Kanna is sleeping on her.
Immediately she calls Aditya to confirm the same. Sometimes He sleeps on His back and sometimes on His front.
He wants to be pampered....

Once Kanna was lying on His front side, she asked what He was doing sleeping in that position.
Kanna said ‘I am checking all your internal organs. They all seem to be ok.’
Kalpana asked ‘Do I have any disease?’
‘Yes! You have a disease called Krishna Premam. And your heart beat only says Kichna...Kichna...Kichna.’
Kalpana immediately said ‘I love this disease very much. Please bless me more with it. Let it always grow and let it never diminish’.

Once Kanna started playing on her nose climbing up and sliding the nose.
She could feel the tickling sensation and asked Him if He was playing see-saw.
He started laughing and made fun of her saying ‘You don’t know anything Amma. I am bored and so I am playing slide on your nose’.
Poor Kanna doesn’t have any playmates (unlike Chittu who has Kanna and Gannu).
So He has to make do with Kalpana only.

Also Kanna doesn’t like Aditya and Malavika studying and always want them to play with Him. As they have exams to study for, Kalpana gets upset and shouts at Kanna, so He sits in one corner and sulks and Kalpana has to ask His pardon a few times offer Him Lemon juice and He is satisfied.
A few days back Kanna was very playful and naughty.
Kalpana threatened that she would tie Him to the table leg.
With a mischievous smile he said ‘Do it. Let me see’.
Kalpana took a dupatta and tied Him to the table leg.
He asked ‘Are you sure you tied tightly?’
(Aditya does not remember any of these mischievous acts once Kanna moves out of his body. When Kanna enters him, it is as if he is hyper active and his eyes sparkle like a diamonds)

As soon as she replied ‘yes’, the dupatta came undone and fell down.
This time she took 2 dupattas and tied him again.
With the same mischievous smile He again asked ‘Did you tie tightly? Are you sure?’
Within a few seconds the dupatta fell down.
Seeing her confusion, Kanna started clapping and jumping.
Kalpana says the naughtiness and mischievous smile of Kanna has to be seen to believe it.
Many a time I tell her ‘why don’t you record it?’
She says,
1 - that she doesn’t remember at that time (may be a play of maya),
2 – Kanna doesn’t give permission,
3- even if they record it would be blank.
It is only a few blessed people who could actually watch all this play of Kanna.
