A very Happy Rama Navami to all Achyuthan Readers
Episode 71
Today being Rama Navami we thought of writing how Unni Kanna shows His love in the form of Lord Rama on Kalpana.
Not one, not two. There are many instances where Kalpana felt Lord Rama’s love towards her.
A few occurrences….
On special festivals and occasions, Kalpana performs Sri Venkateswara vratam and dedicates the same in the name of the God or Goddess or even a person for that occasion.
In 2017, On Sri Rama Navami day, Kalpana performed Sri Venkateswara vratam in the name of Lord Rama.

The same night she was blessed by Lord Rama.
She had a beautiful vision of…Ayodhya!!!
Ayodhya is considered as the birth place of Lord Sri Rama in Thretha Yuga.
We have read in the Ramayana how beautiful Ayodhya was during those days under the rule of Ikshvaku dynasty especially during King Dasharatha and Lord Sri Rama times.
A verse in the Brahmanda Purana names Ayodhya among "the most sacred and foremost cities", the others being Mathura, Haridwar, Kashi, Kanchi and Avantika..
Kalpana saw the whole beautiful city of Ayodhya with lot of tall and small buildings. The city was rich in both culture as well as in decorations.
The main entrance arch was clearly visible. Over the top of the arch she could see a face.
Initially she thought it was the face of the lady, but then when I told her it could be Sun as Lord Rama belong to Surya dynasty, she then could relate to the same.
The face was smiling and red in colour.

On another occasion, Lord Rama gave her darshan in her dream.
He was all of 12 feet height.
Well-built with His hands so long that they were almost reaching His knees.
He was in a thick forest with yellow vanavasa dress and carrying a bow and arrow.
She could see Him walking towards her with a smile on His face.

Mid July-Aug, is the month of Karkata for Keralites. It is considered as Ramayana month and many read either Ramayanam or Naama Ramayanam every day.
Kalpana also reads the Naama Ramayanam in this month. Read Nama Ramayanam here@ 108 Nama Ramayanam
At the end of this period, Kalpana had a dream in which Lord Rama blessed her by showing the whole of Ramayana.

A few instances which she clearly recalls to this day …
1) The palace which was very beautifully and artistically decorated. In a very big hall, Sita Maa and Lord Rama sitting together and Sita Maa feeding Rama....
WOW!!!
Such a divine picture.
Just imagining it brings goosebumps on one’s skin.

The tip of the arrow, she could clearly see, was like a lotus bud.
Sita Maa’s hair was tied up and she had an orange coloured cloth tied on her waist.

In 2016, as you all know Kalpana came to Hyderabad.
We had an unplanned trip to Bhadrachalam, probably Lord Rama wanted to see her as well as shower His blessings.
While doing the pradakshina Lord Rama appeared before her blessed and disappeared as suddenly as He appeared.

As many are aware myself and Anil have translated Sri. Viswapathi’s few vratam books to English.
Similarly, Kalpana, a friend of hers and Geeta then translated them to Malayalam.
Whilst doing the translation of Ananda Anjaneyam, Kalpana and her friend were chatting for a few minutes and suddenly Kalpana could feel the table at which they were sitting shaking.
Kalpana asked her friend whether she felt anything.
What do you think who made her feel it and why?
Kalpana could feel the presence of both Lord Rama and Hanuman near her but the interesting thing was she could see Hanuman sitting there with them.
JAI SRI RAM !!!!!
It was as if Lord Hanuman was reminding them to concentrate on their work rather than chit chatting.
And when she was doing the translation of Sri Rama Raksha vratam she could again feel the presence of Hanumanji.
Where ever His beloved Lord’s name is taken Hanumanji would be there.

Once when she was chanting Hanuman Chalisa, Hanumanji appeared in front of her and opened His chest and showed Lord Rama and Sita Maa.
What a Blessing it is...

Kalpana’s son Aditya also saw Lord Rama blessing him almost a year back.
