NARAYANA KAVACHAM
Narayana Kavacham occurs in chapter eight of the sixth skanda from Bhagavada Purana. Kavacham means armour and as the name says Narayana Kavacham is an armour that protects you from your enemies and would get rid of all your fears.
Divine architect Vishwakarma’s son Vishwaroopa once became the Guru of the Devas when their Guru Brihaspati abandoned them out of anger. During this time Devas had to face fierce attacks from the asuras and Guru Viswaroopa taught Devendra Narayana Kavacham to help protect themselves from the asuras. Learning this knowledge Indra won over all three worlds.
It is believed that one who chants this Kavacham would be protected from all circumstances at all times and directions by Lord Vishnu’s various incarnations and weapons.
