Kalpana’s family visit to Udupi Krishna temple in 2008 was the golden beginning of Krishna’s miracles in her life.
Many of us have experienced something happening repeatedly in our life and wondered why and what it indicates?
Is it not so???
That too when it is related to Spirituality, we wonder what God is trying to tell us.
How many of you have experienced it?? I certainly did….
That is what happened with Kalpana too.
It was January 2011…
Whenever Kalpana used to browse internet in her laptop, one particular website always used to pop up.
And the site was ‘LordBalaljiMiracles.com’. Those among you who are not aware of it, this website provides the information on Sri Venkateswara Vratam which is followed by a devotee Mrs.Lalitha Rushikesh. The vratam was originally written by Sri TVRK Murthy garu, also known as "Viswapathi", one of our esteemed core member.
(Soft copies of Vratham are available on www.lordofsevenhills.com in various languages. This vratham, as instructed by the Lord himself, is considered to be the most powerful of all the vrathams to please Lord Venkateswara and his divine consorts Sri Devi and Bhudevi).
Will your curiosity not stir if the same site comes up in front of you again and again?
Kalpana was also in the same dilemma during that time.
Deliberating why this was happening, out of curiosity she checked the site and found the ‘Sri Venkateswara Vratham’. At that point of time, Venkateswara vratham books were available only in English and Telugu.
Amazed, she enquired with her friends and family about the same, not surprisingly none heard about it as the vratham was not widely known.
Naturally she left at that.
As most of us know, if one is not very familiar with reading Sanskrit slokams and mantras, it takes a while to learn that, even if the script is in native language.
Have you tried reading the Sanskrit script in English?
From my experience, it does take a lot of time to get familiar with it.
Facing difficulty in reading the Sanskrit words in English, Kalpana ignored the site as well as the vratham.
One cannot escape destiny… is it not?
Enticing her, the same site used to pop up again and again.
Left with no other choice she downloaded the English version and studied for a few days to familiarize with it. Not satisfied she also watched the video to learn the process of performing the vratham.

Finally..
With confidence she performed the vratham for the first time on 19th March 2011, which was Ekadasi, that proved to be a memorable experience for her.
While performing the vratham, she saw the right hand of Lord Balaji (which points downward - Kati Hastam) turning 180 degrees into abhaya hastam blessing her.
Surprised Kalpana thought she was imagining things, would you also not think so?
Finally..

There after Kalpana started performing the Venkateswara vratham every month on Ekadasi (Shukla paksha) and even now performs the Vratham every month.
With no more such experiences, Kalpana ignored the episode and continued her life.
In February 2012…
The blessed one…Aditya started feeling a soft smooth hand touching him, looking around he could see no one.

Imagine a 10 year old child, experiencing this for a few times…
As adults we ourselves get scared, if the same thing happens to us.
Then what would have happened to that small child?
With no logical reason, naturally he too was scared. Although the Brahmin in Udupi said that he was having Krishna’s blessing, who would have imagined the Lord himself would come and show His presence?
Suddenly one day….
Both Kalpana and Aditya heard a divine tune..
And it was…
As if someone from the cosmos was playing a flute. Sooo melodious, both were mesmerized hearing it.
As adults we ourselves get scared, if the same thing happens to us.
Then what would have happened to that small child?

Kalpana translated the Venkateswara Swamy Vratham to her native language Malayalam in exactly 11 days. This version of vratham is performed by many Malayalis all over the world.Copies of the vratham books are distributed in India and abroad free of charge.
