Maanasika Pooja
On July 21st, 2017 Chittithalli (Jaganmaatha) explained about Maanasika Puja (Praying in the heart) to one of our Achyuthan members.
We are sharing the procedure here for the benefit of all devotees so that everyone could get blessing of Chittithalli or any of your ISHTA Daivam.
Almost a similar procedure has already been explained in the shastras.
Firstly, Jaganmaatha's one of the favourite sloka, which can be chanted (108 times) by anyone while doing Pooja.
OM OM OM
Sarva Mangala Mangalye
Shive Sarvartha Sadhike
Sharanye Tryambake Gauri
Narayani Namosthuthe
Maanasika Pooja Details:
The Maanasika puja as explained by Chittithalli takes around 20 to 25 mins. It has to be performed after taking bath in the morning while doing our regular puja. Please see to that no one disturbs you when you are doing this.
As we all know there are 7 chakras in our body.

The Maanasika puja as explained by Chittithalli takes around 20 to 25 mins. It has to be performed after taking bath in the morning while doing our regular puja. Please see to that no one disturbs you when you are doing this.
As we all know there are 7 chakras in our body.
Sit comfortably(preferably sit on any fresh cloth or mat) and then concentrate on Ajna Chakra (the third eye area) or bindu on forehead.
Think of your favourite God. Jaganmaaatha, Krishna, Ganesha, Shiva, Sai Baba, any one which ever God one regularly prays or their Ishta Daivam.
Invite the God to enter through the Ajna Chakram.
From Ajna Chakram bring the God to Vishuddhi chakra (throat area).
Offer water to the God for washing their feet and hands. In the same way as guests were invited into the house in olden days.
Then invite Him/ Her to Anahata chakra (heart area).
After offering water to drink, then do all the different upachaaras. Give bath, offer new clothes, jewellery and flowers. Same the way we take care of very dear guests.
Now the Guest must have a long distance travelled to come over to our house and with the bath little relaxed. The next step naturally would be to satiate their hunger.
We will invite Him/ Her to Manipura chakra, which is the stomach area/ Naabhi (belly button).
Put a small stool and offer the God the place to sit. In a silver plate offer all varieties of food that you think are fit for the God: payasam, vada, rice, vegetables etc. Also keep a glass of water.
Imagine that you are sitting next to God, fanning and serving to your hearts’ content.
Once finished, invite him or her to Swadisthana chakra which is just below the stomach.
The next step is to entertain them before sleeping. So you could sing, talk, do seva etc.
Once you satisfy the God to your heart’s content then put your wish in front of the God.
You can request whatever you wish for. God will bless you saying "Thadaasthu Thadaasthu".
Before coming out close the door and let Him / Her sleep and thus ends the Maanasika Pooja for that particular day.
We can repeat this process everyday to get blessed.
Thank you Chittithalli for showering your blessings on us with this puja procedure.
