Three Generations of Blessed Devotees -3
Episode 58
Krishna Dasi’s tryst with Santoshi Maa started again in 2006 with a dream. In the dream she saw a lady and asked her who she was. The reply she got was confusing…
‘I am called Jaganmaatha.’
A precursor may be…
Again 2008 she dreamt of a Devi with lot of ornaments and a big vermillion standing beside her.
Interestingly, she could see a replica of the same Devi coming towards her from opposite direction. However this form of Devi did not have vermillion on her forehead.
She came forward saying ‘I left your home 23 years back. Now I saw my photo again in your house and hence I am returning back’.

Krishna Dasi was totally confused with this dream.
Who has left 23 years back and whom did I not take care and why is She coming back??
The next morning she asked her mother the same questions which were going on in her mind.
Her mother’s reply immediately stuck a chord with her.
Her mother said ‘you have stopped performing Santoshi Maatha vratam, may be Devi Maa is telling you the same. Start performing the vratam again’.
When she thought back, she realised it was exactly 23 years back she got married and stopped performing the vratam.
It was Devi Maa’s way of telling her ‘I am still there for you but you forgot and left me. But I am coming back to you again’.
Devi Maa came back as she started chanting Lalitha Sahasranamam.
Can any mother leave her child for long??? And can the child ignore the mother when she comes home???

Krishna Dasi started performing the Vratam again.
In 2016, Devi Priya read about Sri Venkateswara Vratham written by Sri Viswapathi on Achyuthan.
She started the vratam on Geeta Jayanthi in 2016 and continues to perform it every Saturday.
In a way, this was the start of the visible miracles in their house.
The next Friday after starting the vratam, she Krishna Dasi offered 4 raisins as Naivedyam. Kept them all together as a group.
By evening all of them were arranged in the form square on the four corners of the plate.

Her daughter said it must be some kids play, although they knew no one came to their house and the puja room was kept closed.
Krishna Dasi was sure it was a miracle of Bhagawan.
So from the next day she started offering naivedyam regularly.
I am amazed at the description of their naivedyam.
They offer the naivedyam in a silver plate which they term as God’s Thali..
She keeps a big plate of water in front of Bhagawan. Inside this plate the God’s thali is placed.
Everyday breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner are offered without fail.
Whatever they cook for the family that itself is offered.
Once the offering is served on the plate it is covered with another plate and the puja door is closed for half an hour.
A silver glass is filled with water and this is also covered and kept alongside the plate.

Another brass glass filled water is also kept.
Surprising and so thoughtful of the needs of Bhagawan.
Can you guess the reason???
This is for Bhagawan to wash His hands before partaking the offered Naivedyam.
I have never heard of people doing this for Bhagwan.
No wonder it is a very blessed family.
The day ends with offering of dry fruits or homemade sweet/ savoury.
Saturday’s naivedyam is special comprising of panakam, milk with dry fruits, buttermilk and fruits. In the evening maha naivedyam is made without any onion or garlic.
Both mother and daughter observe complete fasting till they perform the vratam in the evening.
Such a devotion to Bhagawan…
And why would He not show His presence????
So many different experiences…

I am writing a few to give a flavour of the experiences….
- They offer the Naivedyam at around 8 pm (add or subtract 5 mins). They have the habit of closing the puja room after offering the naiveyam to let Bhagwan have His dinner in peace. They have been observing that on the dot… after 30 mins, the door of the puja room opens on its own.
- One night she forgot to offer the naivedyam and was busy talking to her friend on the phone. Suddenly her friend’s number disappeared from the mobile contact list. She searched and searched but could not find it.
- Suddenly she remembered about the naivedyam and praying for forgiveness, she immediately offered it. When she came back she could see her friend’s name on the top of the screen. Bhagawan knows how to get her attention.
They stay in a duplex house and when they are upstairs they can hear the lights switched off/ on in the downstairs and when they are downstairs the same takes place upstairs.
Is it Venkateswara swamy or Unni Kanna who present in their house???
No idea.
Whoever it is, both are one form….Maha Vishnu
Every day Krishna Dasi gives bath to Unni Kanna with warm water. In a hurry, one day she forgot to give him bath and went off to school. Now would Kanna keep quite? He must have waited for someone to remember and give the bath.
It was going to be evening and He could not wait any longer.
At around 3.15pm, Devi Priya and her father could see small puddles of water around her bed. It was as if someone has taken bath and come out with wet feet.

Before concluding today’s episode an interesting incident…
Before starting writing this episode I had asked Krishna Dasi to send me either a voice recording or an email write up of their experiences.
She preferred to write it and was postponing the same. I had in my mind to start their story two weeks back and was planning to do so with the recording that I had when we met them.
Just observe how Krishna makes people do things of what He wants.

It was 7th or 8th of December, I had already written the epilogue of their experience and sent her the message. She replied that she got the message from Unni Kanna that it is time for her to take leave and write.
And how He did it…
Around the same dates, Krishna Dasi she could not get up from bed due to severe exhaustion and was forced to take leave. She overcame her tiredness only after she realised and decided to write her experiences.
On the same Devi Priya also got the indication through Narayaneeyam.
The written document was 14 pages which is also her lucky number. And...
On that day when they offered Pomegrante seeds for Naivedyam, of which…
Exactly 14 seeds were eaten.
How do they know???
The flesh of the seeds are sucked and the seeds are left on the side.
All these are amazing Leela's of Bhagawan and expressing His happiness in this way.
There is another fact which I would reveal in the next episode.
