One day Swapna the eldest of the three was browsing the net and suddenly came upon the website ‘Lord of Seven Hills’. She became interested in the content and downloaded the pdf copies of the vratams and shared the same with her sisters Shweta and Pooja.
Around this time, their father, a business man, was undergoing severe health problems. His liver was badly damaged and the doctors suggested liver replacement as well as other procedures.
Swapna felt that coming across the Venkateswara vratam was a saviour for her father and thought Bhagawan was showing a way. So she insisted that her younger sister Pooja do the vratam. (Swapna and Swetha are married).

If Bhagawan selects someone to show His blessings, it could start at any time in their life.
Of the three sisters Pooja was not so religious at this point in time.
As the sisters were discussing the vratam, their father insisted on going to Tirumala at any cost.
The sisters were apprehensive and scared. It was not easy for him to travel from Hyderabad to Tirumala. In addition, there are so many food restrictions to follow for a liver patient.
However, as their father was not in a mood to relent, they took doctor’s advice and went to Tirumala.
The moment he stepped on to Tirumala, their father became very active with no sign of pain. The surprised and apprehensive family took it as a blessing of the Lord and decided to do the vratam the moment they come back to
Hyderabad.

On the next Pournami, the parents and Pooja did all the preparations as per the instructions in the book. Pooja read the vratam and offered Sooji halwa as neivedyam.
Her mother took out part of the same and kept in front of the Lord praying ‘Swamy! Please come to our home to accept our neivedyam. Please bless us’.
The next day whilst cleaning the puja (altar) area she removed the lid from the plate of the neivedyam and was shocked.
Excitedly she called her family members and showed the plate of neivedyam.
For on the neivedyam…
There were very clear finger marks … as if someone put all their fingers to scoop out the prasadam.

A wonder stuck and grateful family realised it was none other than ‘Sri Venkateswara Swamy’ who showed His presence in this way.
This was the starting point of the miracles in their life which to this day are continuing.
The sisters came to meet me as I am currently in Hyderabad and it was a divine experience to hear some of the miracles from them directly.
I always say when I am at crossed roads thinking that I don’t have a story to write, Kanna shows someone who is immensely blessed and continues our saga of bringing His miracles to His devotes.
Thank You Kanna for always listening to my thoughts and showing me people who have Your and Devi Maa blessings.

To continue…
After the vratam, on the next visit to doctor…
It was surprising and wonderful to hear the doctor’s verdict..
For he said ‘There is no need for the operation. The parameters have come back to some normalcy. I will put him on a single tablet and you can come back to me only after a year for the check-up’.
Now how come a patient who was so sick and was advised liver transplant would only be advised a single tablet and almost back to normalcy. Unless it is some divine interference.
Swapna felt she should do the Krishna vratam for seven weeks. Before performing she thought Kanna loves butter and hence offered Him homemade butter.

It was peak summer. However, the next day, when she lifted the lid on the neivedyam she saw that the butter had not even melted a little bit and stayed as it is. She saw a hole in the centre of the prasadam and wondered did Kanna eat it and if so how did He eat? Else how did the hole come in the butter?
She got her answer in a dream that night.
Kanna showed that He ate the butter with the flute in His hand. Her vigraha is small and the flute is a thin one.
See how Kanna answered her question.

The second week after completing the Krishna vratam, Swapna saw big foot prints from the balcony to her altar area. It was as if someone stepped on mix of green and red kumkum and then walked all over the place.
Unfortunately, till then the sisters did not realise the significance of their blessings and hence have not taken any pictures.

During the third week, as written in Krishna vratam, Swapna offered mangoes to Kanna while performing the vratam.
Not surprisingly she again found a big hole on the mangoes.
How cute, Unni Kanna is using His flute as a spoon to eat the neivedyam offered by Swapna.
We can’t predict how Kanna shows His blessings.
So many leelas with so many different devotees with our only one UNNI KANNA.
Love you Kanna.
