Episode 125
Three Sisters – Tuljapur Mahalakshmi Blessings
Last year, when the sister’s father was unwell, their mother prayed to Tuljapur Mahalakshmi who is their kuladeivam. Their mother made a promise that she would carry “Ganda deepam” on her and do pradakshina around the temple.
As wished by the family Devi Maa fulfilled their wish and their father regained his health. So as promised they decided to go to Tuljapur.
As soon as they reached the temple, one of the priests came to them and said “I will make you do the Ganda deepam as well as Devi Maa Abhishekam. Just give me Rs.100. now who in these days helps you for just Rs. 100 and that too for the whole family?

Thinking that he is fooling them, they returned to the room. After completing their daily routine when then returned to the temple, surprisingly, they met the same priest standing inside the temple premises.
Thinking that it was not a coincidence and that it was an indication from the Supreme Lord, they requested the priest to help them perform the Ganda Deepam and Abhishekam.
The priest asked them to join the queue and said that he would arrange all the required materials whilst standing in the queue, Swapna’s mother observed that there were 10-12 priests worshipping a round cloth which was shaped into a diya that was not yet lit. They were standing around the diya as if they were surrounding Devi Maa Herself.

To their surprise, the priest who said he would help them, came at that time, gave this cloth diya to them and said, “this is your deepam.”
It was raining at that time, however, when the deepam was lit, it was burning as if nothing was wrong. Even in this rain they finished their pradakshina without even a flicker of the deepam.
The youngest sister, Pooja took some flowers to offer to the Goddess which their father specifically bought from Hyderabad. With a lot of scepticism they took the flowers to the temple, thinking that they will not be allowed to offer to the Goddess but will be thrown out. However to their surprise and delight, the priest asked what they were carrying. When they told him that they got the flowers for Devi Maa, he happily took them and said after the Abhishekam they would adorn and decorate Devi Maa with these flowers. He also told them “come again after the alankaram, you would be happy to see Devi Maa decorated with the flowers you so lovingly brought”.

The family thanked him and as specified went back to the temple for darshan after a few hours. Again to their wonder the same priest was inside the sanctum sanctorum. He called them inside and made them stand near the main deity. He asked them to touch their head to the feet of Devi Maa. They were shocked by this treatment from the priest – it was as if getting a VIP treatment from the temple priest.
Which priest would go out of his way to help get blessings without knowing and not expecting anything in return? Who was this priest and why did he help them???
May be Devi Maa herself sent the priest in that form or she might have Herself come in the priest form??
Who knows??

The priest also told them to visit the Gund (a divine lake where Astadikpalakas are prayed, it is the only place in the whole world). A few days back around one lakh people had holy bath in it. The priest while asking them to visit the Gund, gave them a bottle and asked them to collect some water from the Gund to take home. He specified that the water would help in clearing all kinds of skin diseases and health issues. The family was very happy hearing this.
In the last episode, I wrote how Shirdi Sai baba appeared in the plate, later on when they zoomed the picture they could also see an impression of Tuljapur Mahalakshmi in the same plate.
After the trip to Tuljapur, the family went to Basara.
Whilst praying, Swapna thought, “Chittu! You are here and I want bangles offered in the Sanctum Santorum”. As soon as she had this thought, the priest called her and gave her a few bangles that were adoring Devi Maa. When she called Anil and informed about the Basara trip, he asked her if she had observed a small vigraha to one side inside the sanctum sanctorum, and that is none other than our dear “CHITTU”.

Kanna regularly accepts the Neivedyam they offer. They find small holes or small finger prints on the neivedyam.
